31 Days of Writing Inspiration Slack

Hi friends.

Here is the invite to the 31 Days of Writing Inspiration slack. It is open now until the end of January. #31Days starts January 1, and I would love for you to join our community, if you want to.

This is the first year that I’m creating this community, and I envision it as a place to post your word count for the day, talk about your projects a bit, cheer other people on, and post pictures of your pets. (That last bit is primarily for my pleasure, to be honest.) It’s just a great place for a check-in and to get/give a little boost in the middle of this program.

It’s also a way to connect with people who might want to start online (or irl!) writing groups, either to share work or to have regular group writing sessions. The slack is not meant to be robust, but merely a meeting place.

A few more notes:

I am the only moderator.

I cannot provide any technical support. I’m

I ask that you not promote anything commercial on this slack. This is a place for community only.

People also use the #31DaysofWritingInspiration hashtag on Twitter and Instagram, if you are looking for other ways to connect, support, and get inspired.

You do not need to participate in social media at all! You can write quietly at home and still be a participant in #31DaysofWritingInspiration.

Have I covered everything? Let me know if I’m missing something by posting in the #general Slack channel, and I will update this page as necessary.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
